Jonathan D. Eisenback is a Professor of Plant Nematology in the Department of Plant Pathology at Virginia Tech. He is Director of the Virginia Tech Nematode Diagnostic and Assay Lab where he advises growers about nematode related problems. Jon has a keen interest in photomicroscopy with both the light and scanning electron microscope. He has won several photography contests including two first place prizes in Nikon's Small World photomicroscopy competition. Dr. Eisenback teaches Plant Nematology to graduate students and Plant Biology to undergraduates. He has traveled extensively in South America, Africa, Europe and Asia where he has participated in research projects related to plant nematology. |
