Donald Groth is a F. Avalon Dagget Professor of Rice Pathology and Research Coordinator at the LSU AgCenter Rice Research Station in Crowley Louisiana. He has been working with the rice varietal development team for 25 years. His interests include development of host disease resistance, cultural management of rice diseases, and chemical control. He is a 1983 graduate of Iowa State University.
