Description: Shelterwood cut leaving 12 per acre for natural regeneration of Ponderosa Pine (Pinus ponderosa), Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii), Sugar Pine (Pinus lambertiana), California white fir (Abies concolor), and Incense-cedar (Libocedrus decurrens)in the Challeuge Experimental Forest in the northern Sierra Nevada's. Slash was piled and burned.
