Descriptor: Adult(s)
Description: Adult body length c. 5.8-6.3mm; colour black to brownish-black; body shape broadly-oval, moderately convex and shiny in appearance. Pronotum twice as broad as long, slightly narrowed from base to apex, with sides feebly curved and narrowly margined. Apex of the pronotum broadly emarginated with apical angles prominent; pronotal base bisinuate with basal angles rectangular. Elytra with impressed striae and finely punctured; Australia: Victoria: swarming in poultry shed in Berwick, Sept 1964 det. Duffy 1965.
