American swallow-tailed kite

Descriptor: Adult(s)
Description: Two Swallow-tailed Kites in a dead tree above a waterway connected to the St. Johns River in central Florida. This photo was taken early in the morning before these and the other 600 kites in this roost area took flight for the day. This picture was taken the last week of July as the kites gather to fly south to Brazil each summer from Florida.
